What Happens During a Color Analysis?
We work through a series of professional color drapes — fabric in specific tones placed near your face in a particular sequence. The drapes are the tool. What we're actually doing is reading how your natural coloring responds. Some colors bring your features forward. Others flatten them, create shadows, or pull attention away from your face. The difference is often immediate and always visible.
How Is a Color Palette Determined?
Every drape tells me something. I'm watching your skin — whether it clears or dulls, whether shadows appear or disappear, whether your eyes come forward or recede. But I don't move on until you see it too. By the end of the session you're not just leaving with a palette — you're leaving with the ability to recognize your colors yourself. They've made themselves known to both of us.

See All Sessions"I had been previously typed as a dark winter. After two years of trying those colors, I was still left puzzled — black left me looking drained and pale. It turns out I am a true autumn. Right away I could see how those colors harmonize with my skin tone. It's not just about color — it's about resonance."— Liliana L.
When the right colors appear near the face the difference is often immediate. Skin looks clearer, eyes brighter, the overall balance of the face easier to see. Most clients say the experience finally explained something that made sense for years — certain colors always felt right while others never quite worked. Once your palette becomes clear, everything else follows.

Before we meet, you'll send me a few photos of yourself in natural light without makeup. I'll read your undertone and do the analysis. Then we sit together — virtually — and go through everything. You can ask questions, we'll look at comparisons, and you'll leave with a palette that's actually yours.

"My color analysis session with Sara was nothing short of amazing. I was surprised by how the right colors immediately brightened my face. I loved discovering that my power color is emerald green. This experience has truly been life-changing."— Melissa Luedemann
"What I was most impressed with was her ability to help me actually see the changes in how my features were emphasized or hidden by certain colors — something I always felt blind to before sitting in her chair. Now I feel like I have that same ability in my toolbox going forward."— Molly Hyde
Color is not the transformation. Recognition is.
